More comfort, more functionality and smarter furniture at the international exhibitions TECHNOMEBEL and THE WORLD OF FURNITURE from 26 to 30 March
Interior this year is modern and practical.
Over 190 companies from Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine will take part in the international exhibitions TECHNOMEBEL and THE WORLD OF FURNITURE from 26 to 30 March in Inter Expo Center. They will present 450 international brands in the furniture production, furnishing and design sector.
An emphasis on natural fabrics
The trend in 2019 is to use natural materials, such as leather and natural fiber upholstery. More functional use of space is provided by modular furniture, which combine standardization and customization. The customer is more demanding. Soft furniture with easy-to-clean technologies, waterproof or highly scratch resistant – this is the vision in the interior in the modern dynamic way of life.
The trend in furniture can be divided into two directions – low-budget furniture and furniture meeting the requirements of the most sophisticated and demanding customer. This means more comfort, more functionality, and smarter furniture.
The home is an office and the office is a home
At THE WORLD OF FURNITURE every visitor can find furniture for the home, office, garden, hotel or restaurant that matches his style. There is a great variety of furniture and offers vary from classical to Nordic style, suitable for an eclectic, vintage or industrial interior. Each model has been created with emotion, ambition and exclusive design. What could there be in a designer electric desk? Height adjustment, hidden compartment for cables, LED lights, smart sockets, socket within a socket. The home is compact and comfortable.
Special attention is also given to office furniture – manager series, as well as operating office series, plus an impressive variety of office chairs. The Labyrinth wall unit has LED lights for background lighting, with push door systems.
From the kitchen to the bedroom
Freshness and charm is what you can also find in the kitchen – a unique three-level sink: in the bowl, the step and above, it turns everyday food preparation and serving into a convenient and pleasant chore. It stands out with its waterproof and compact motor, guaranteeing total safety.
Designers will find an easy and stylish solution to the problem of insufficient sockets in kitchen designing, as well as how to turn off all appliances in the house with just one click.
This year exhibitors at THE WORLD OF FURNITURE offer a great variety of mattresses. In addition to orthopedic support to ensure body stability, mattresses need to provide an exceptionally soft surface and a feeling of weightlessness.
Bulgarian Furniture of the Year
In the exhibition halls, visitors will also be able to see the products nominated in the “Bulgarian Furniture of the Year” competition, as well as the award winners for 2019, the organizers from Inter Expo Center and the Branch Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry shared.
For future staff in the furniture sector, we have the “Panorama of Bulgarian Education” dedicated area, and the “Competition for Knowledge” initiative is directed towards university students and students from professional high schools.
