This will be yet another consecutive year for the visitors at Technomebel and World of Furniture to take advantage of the Hosted buyers program. Thanks to it, the businesses can implement B2C meetings, develop their activities and create new contacts.
More than 30 representatives from Armenia, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Georgia, Canada, Romania, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland joined the program in 2017.
According to statistics, the annual value of the Bulgarian production in the sector reaches EUR 500 million and the added value that the furniture industry creates is above 2.5%. "The sector is steady, the interest of foreign clients is sustainable, our companies produce furniture for the whole of Europe", commented Galin Gospodinov - Chairman of the Branch Chamber of Wood and Furniture Industry in Bulgaria. According to him, 30-35% of the production produced in the country is exported abroad.
Visiting the exhibitions Technomebel and World of Furniture creates an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with Bulgarian companies and to enter a growing sector of the economy. More and more companies steer their attention to Bulgaria. This was proved in 2017 when the exhibitors were visited by business representatives from Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, India, Israel, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Macedonia, Moldova, Russia, USA, Serbia, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Finland.
